Visit InkySwap
Navigate to https://inkyswap.com in Google Chrome

Look for Install Prompt
Click the install icon in the address bar (looks like a computer with an arrow)Alternatively:
- Click the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right
- Select “Install InkySwap…”

Confirm Installation
Click “Install” in the popup dialog

Launch the App
InkySwap will open in its own window. You can also find it in:
- Chrome Apps (chrome://apps)
- Your desktop/dock
- Start menu (Windows) or Applications folder (Mac)

Managing Your PWA
Update the App
Automatic Updates
The PWA automatically checks for updates when you open it. Updates are applied in the background.
Force Update
Pull down to refresh (mobile) or press Ctrl/Cmd + R (desktop) to force check for updates.
Uninstall the App
- Desktop
- iOS
- Android
Chrome/Edge:
- Open the PWA
- Click the three dots menu
- Select “Uninstall InkySwap…”
- Go to chrome://apps or edge://apps
- Right-click InkySwap
- Select “Remove from Chrome/Edge”

- Ensure you’re using a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari)
- Check you’re on HTTPS (https://inkyswap.com)
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try incognito/private mode
- Wait a few seconds for the install prompt
PWA not updating

- Close and reopen the app
- Clear the app cache in browser settings
- Uninstall and reinstall the PWA
- Check your internet connection
Wallet connection issues

- Ensure your wallet extension is installed in the browser
- For mobile, use WalletConnect for best compatibility
- Try connecting in the browser first, then in PWA

- Ensure you have sufficient storage space
- Close other apps to free up memory
- Update your browser to the latest version
iOS limitations
iOS limitations
iOS PWAs have some limitations:
- No push notifications (yet)
- Limited to 50MB cache
- Must use Safari for installation
- May lose data if unused for weeks
